        "Business Intelligence & Analytics"
Presented by Vaughn Robison, CDI Talent & Technology Solutions
In March we learned How to present financial data with meaning.   Is your organization reacting to data or proactive?

Business Intelligence (BI) measures and records the pulse of your business. Business intelligence focuses on the collection and analysis of relational databases (data marts, data warehouses, operational stores and cubes).  It is not enough to collect data a put it into a pivot table; businesses drive their profits with actionable dashboards and reports.

Predictive analytics use many of the same techniques that data science projects employ; however, the purpose of analytics is to produce a score for each customer or organizational element based on empirical data.  Companies can produce a predictive model that assigns these scores by learning from the history of your organization, known as Uplift Modeling. Predictive modeling is a “numbers game” that translates in a high return through the identification of a data set, or segment, that can be targeted.
